I opened the hood and the radiator cap is hissing and the coolant is gurgling in the overflow container (which is low). I'm pretty sure my radiator cap is deteriorated and needs to be replaced
Edit2: Tilted the PC and the noise is gone, will wait a couple days and then try removing the extra height and not move it much from now on. Edit3: Turns out the pump just has some quiet moments but overall it's pretty much the same, ordered an air cooler and will send this one up for warranty, and eventually sell it. 4.
Turning off the hot water seems to help reduce the gurgling/whooshing noise and also seems to move the source of it from the radiator to further down the pipes towards the boiler. Hot water and heating both work well, all rads are 60-70+C. I am stumped.

1. That gurgling noise is there is a "bubble" of air in the heater core. That will absolutely cause a loud gurgle whenever the engine is running. Coolant flows thru your heater core all the time. They use a plastic door to divert air through the core (winter) or around the core (summer). You have a problem in the coolant system.

Step 2: Make sure that your overflow tank is at the level of coolant where the line marked "COLD" is, make sure that you car is cold, do not try this with a engine that has been running. Open your radiator cap, insert the angled peice of the spill free funnel into the correct cap for you car, then the main peice of the funnel on that, Make sure
Step 3. Air in the Heater Core: While the engine is running coolant is being pushed through the heater core. When air bubbles get trapped they can make a gurgling sound in which case the front or the rear or the front of the car must be jacked up to pure the bubbles from the core. Air in the heater core can also be caused by an excessive volume
